MCLAUGHLIN EDUCATION CONSULTING was founded in 2003 by Sharon McLaughlin, MEd, to assist students and parents navigate the college admissions and financial aid processes for undergraduate and graduate programs. Through over 20 years of experience as a college administrator in admissions and financial aid, Sharon is able to assist students in finding colleges that meet their academic, career and financial goals. Her experience ranges from public to private colleges, as well as, 2 year and 4 year colleges.

Due to increased demand, Sharon has begun to offer Student Loan Debt Consolidation Counseling to those who have graduated from college and are struggling with monthly student loan payments.

Sharon is also a board member of the Pakachoag Music School of Greater Worcester and a member of the United Way of Central Massachusetts Women’s Initiative and a member of its Financial Literacy Committee through which she mentors middle school girls and facilitates workshops and conferences. She is also a member of the Massachusetts statewide Investing In Girls Alliance.
